First, the Most Important Thing

Ask yourself honestly: Is this an act of self-love? Not punishment. Not a desire to be thinner so you feel more worthy. This works best when it comes from a deep knowing that your body needs to rest, release, and reset. Treat it like a ritual, not a diet.


During the Fast — Your Checklist

  • Water quality matters. Don't use tap or plain bottled water if you can help it. Mineral water or filtered water is best. Your cells need it clean.
  • Electrolytes are non-negotiable. Take sodium, potassium, and magnesium daily. Without them your body starts pulling minerals from your organs and bones. This is the reason people feel terrible and think something is wrong.
  • Support your drainage systems daily:
    • Bowels → stay hydrated, take magnesium
    • Skin → dry brush, sweat (sauna if possible)
    • Lungs → breathwork, slow deep breathing
    • Liver → castor oil pack on the belly
    • Kidneys → hydration + electrolytes
    • Lymph → dry brushing, gentle movement
  • Keep your environment calm. Your sensitivity to stress, noise, and energy will spike. This is not a time to grind. Reduce stimulation. Take time off work if you can.
  • Keep a journal. Emotions will surface — grief, anger, fear, old memories. This is the actual healing. Don't push it down. Write it out.
  • Rest but move gently. Short walks in nature are perfect. No intense workouts.

What's Normal — Don't Panic

These are detox symptoms, not illness:

  • Low energy and brain fog (days 1–2 especially)
  • Headaches
  • Dizziness or lightheadedness
  • Muscle aches
  • Persistent cravings
  • Constipation
  • Emotional waves — agitation, sadness, old feelings rising

The more toxic load you carry going in, the more intense these feel. A healthy body barely notices a fast. Intensity = your body doing its job.


The Mindset Trap

When the voice says "just eat something, you deserve it" — don't fight it, but don't obey it either. Shift your focus from what you're not having to what's happening: cellular repair, autophagy (your body literally eating damaged cells), inflammation dropping, the gut finally getting to rest. You're not being deprived. You're giving yourself something most people never do.


Breaking the Fast — Read This Carefully

How you break the fast is just as important as the fast itself. Getting this wrong causes acid reflux, bloating, intense cravings, vomiting, or worse.

Day 4 — Cold-Pressed Vegetable Juices Only

Drink every 4 hours, last one by 7pm.

Liver Detox Juice Recipes:

  • Green Juice: Spinach, kale, celery, lemon, pinch of salt
  • Carrot Juice: Carrots, lemon, ginger
  • Beetroot Juice: Beetroot, apple, celery, cucumber, mint
  • Red Cabbage Juice: Red cabbage, beetroot, carrot, apple, cucumber, lime

Avoid on Day 4:

  • Fruit (ferments in gut, spikes glucose)
  • Dairy and lactose
  • Raw cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cauliflower)
  • Meat, eggs, gluten, sugar, coffee, alcohol, cacao

Days 5–7 — Vegan Keto (Anti-Inflammatory)

Breakfast options:

  • Green smoothie (cucumber, parsley, lemon, avocado, spinach, almond milk — no fruit)
  • Vegetable broth
  • Chia pudding (coconut/almond milk, no fruit on top)
  • Tofu scramble with bell pepper, spinach, avocado

Lunch options:

  • Steamed vegetables (green beans, zucchini, sweet potatoes, carrots, fresh herbs)
  • Vegetable soup (cabbage, celery, zucchini, cauliflower, spinach, vegetable broth)

Dinner options:

  • Green kale salad with avocado, edamame, sunflower seeds, olive oil and lemon
  • Arugula avocado tomato salad
  • Lemon oven-roasted asparagus
  • Zucchini noodles with tomato-basil sauce

Approved fats: Avocado, coconut oil, olive oil, ghee, MCT oil, soaked almonds and walnuts, hemp/chia/flaxseeds

Still avoid: Meat, eggs, dairy, grains, starches, fizzy drinks, coffee, alcohol, spices, sugar

Day 8 Onwards — Normal Eating

Slowly reintroduce lean proteins and wholesome carbs (fresh fruit, whole grains, legumes). Don't rush it — your body is still healing and extra sensitive to glucose spikes.


Long-Term Morning Ritual (Worth Keeping)

Take these every morning:

  • Fulvic acid or shilajit
  • Zeolite
  • Magnesium malate
  • Chlorella
  • Moringa

One Last Thing

When you're ready to eat again, make the first meal a ceremony. Smell it. Taste it slowly. Notice every sensation. Your body just did something ancient and profound. It deserves to be met with that kind of reverence.

You're not just cleansing your body. You're clearing space for something new.
