Dreams of Escape and Envy

In my dream last night, I was part of a cult or a commune. There were a lot of people there in different rooms. People seemed happy in general, but there was this sense of something just being a little nefarious.
At one point, I realized that the cops were coming to arrest the people or some of the people and I started freaking out and I had my friend Forrest there and he was helping me pack up my stuff and get out.
As I'm packing up, some of the head people of the cult were asking me why I'm packing where I'm going. Most of them didn't know that the cops were coming. And I was just telling them that I'm going to go out for a bit. And I seem to have gotten out okay without anyone stopping me.
And in another dream, there was an email from my department saying that one of my colleagues from that department had moved into another department. And I knew some of the people in that department were actually doing good work. So I got a little envious.
