2025-12-06 Dream About Ferry Flooding and Peru Immigration Troubles

Dream journal, it was a lot of crazy dreams last night I had, disconnected in different ways, but what I'm remembering is that I'm on a boat with a bunch of people and I'm trying to go from one place to another but the boat is trying to flood. It's not a boat, it's more of a ferry with a bunch of cars in it. But um, yeah there's a lot of water and I'm having a hard time getting by.

And from there I switched to being in Peru, like I'm already in Peru and it's almost on the other side of getting on this ferry and there are these two people, one girl one guy, who are I guess immigration people but they're very friendly and we're like just chatting along. And at one point they asked me why I'm in Peru, how long I'm in Peru for, and what my intention is to be here. I say I'm here for vacation but also to do some work. I'm here to partner and yeah I'm just gonna hang out and do some good stuff and connect with the locals because I love them so much. And then I tell them that I'm planning on being here for three months and everything sounds good.

And then I tell them at some point that yeah I want to like move here so I'm looking for a way to move here. And then the guy's face changes like oh I wish you hadn't said that because I need to capture that. That's exactly what we're afraid of, people who come here and then don't leave. And at that point I'm panicking a little bit because I'm not planning on staying this time. I'm like no I didn't mean it like that, I meant it like I want to be here full-time legally. So I'm trying to just get some paperwork done and also like feel out if this is the place. But he just wouldn't hear me and he's like okay so you can't be here. I'm gonna we're gonna call the migrations and they're gonna take you back.

And yeah I think a lot of fears from growing up undocumented came up. It was scary and I woke up from that. ^rwhi964164998
