Full Document
I will be recording this webinar.I hope the recording goes well and thatyou'll be able to review it later.I hope that this Mars Uranus is not goingto crash the systems and that this isgoing to be a great introduction.Learning experience. One of the reasons Iinitiated this webinar is to speak alittle bit about the astrology education.
Many, you know, so many options areavailable today online. Some schools arealso in person. But what I find that islacking, and I see that both through OPAAas I am the current president of OB A, andthrough my personal practice, it seemsthat people do not have their knowledgeorganized, and it leads to fragments ofknowledge — what I call sometimes littleknowledge that is interpreted ascomplete. Sometimes, people jump too farforward, not having foundations. And as a result, they cannot really perform adequately, and we end up having astrologers, peoplewho practice astrology in a way that is.
You know, not fully reliable, my approachto astrology is based on the idea ofevolution, tracking the soul journeythrough the natal chart, and what thismeans, basically, is to use the chart notonly as a toolto identify particular patterns or traits, you know, if someone is great for cooking orpromising engineer or someone you know, needs to have a lot of funnyrelationships, and we're not just lookingat what is, but we want to understand whythings are the way they are. Why wereyour board in a certain place? Why didyou have a domineering parent or anabsent parent? And so forth. So, to me, whatis important in chart analysis, andthat's the particularity of evolutionaryastrology, is that we can see issues— identify issues in the chart, but alsotrack them, source them, and understandthat many of our current circumstancesare sourced before this life. Peoplearrived in this incarnation withmemories, fears, desires, gives it talents.
That are not just the product of geneticyou know, genetical source from theparents, but they come from their wholepersonal soul history. And yet manyastrology systems do not go back totrack that we can look at thingspsychologically. We can look at thingstechnically in the chart, but can weunderstand thesource of certain aromas, the source of certainbehaviors. Some people are already bornwith post-traumatic stress. Nothinghappens in their early life; they havequote unquote, a normal childhood, but they exhibit symptoms ofpost-traumatic stress, which is oftensourced again from those past lives. Nowsome people say, well, we can make up pastlives. How do you know it's actuallyvalid? Personally, I've done quite a bitof research on that and being, and I'vebeen able to track the chart of peoplethrough different incarnations. There aren't many possibilities to dothat because it's very hard to get.
Confirmation of a reincarnation, let alone the charts, but some cases were confirmed, and we can see that astrologyis a very effective tool to actually look at what happened before this life.It represents the past, our present, and then where we're going, the future.
This course is a very comprehensive program that I'm offering. The enrollment begins now.In the course of this spring, however, you can join at other times because most of the material is my correspondence. The important aspect of this course is not just that it covers the very basic to the professional levels,so you are not left behind, and you don't have those gaps in your knowledge. But it also connects knowledge—the mental knowledge with a spiritual life.
We meet together at least once a year.In the course of two and a half years, we meet three times during retreat, where wework on other aspects of our development, including yoga practice,Including community, so we connectbetween the groups. We learn together, andthis is in itself a transformativeexperience. So, you're not just gettinginformation; you're getting knowledge, you're going deep into your own soul, work. Because that's what we're doing,we're working on the soul. And to work onthe soul, you cannot just get an Internetcourse. It's a process; you need to beable to go deep, to face your own shadows,to understand the nature of this work, because you are going to work withpeople's deepest emotions, and you need aproper training for that.
So, the courseis expensive, relatively speaking. It'sabout five thousand dollars, fivethousand five hundred.
The mode is over many months. So, it's easierif you choose to, you can also payupfront. If you live abroad, there aredifferent payment plans as well. And ifyou live in places like South Africa orthe Middle East, if there are enoughpeople in your area, there's also anOpportunity to create a local studygroup and make the whole processless expensive. So my point is, if youwant to learn, I'll meet you there. Ifyou're serious, if you want to go deep,if you want to master this star-doll,it from this perspective,it's an investment in time, in money, and in expertise because we want to producegreat astrologers.
So the reason I'mgoing to talk about the outer planetstoday is because this has a lot to dowith the process of evolution. Theirinfluence is very central, but the courseitself covers all the planets prettymuch, including medical astrology, relationships, astral cartography, andpredictive techniques. So, the curriculumyou can see on the link, whether the linkyou received, or the link of my website. The curriculum is quite extensive, and really provides practical tools aswell as spiritual understanding, so youwill be able to answer both, you know, thedeep question about why am I here, whatIs this incarnation about, but also about
when can I sign this contract? And is ita good day to have surgery? Or what'sgoing on with my financial situation? Sothe purpose to go deep into thespiritual realm is to cover the wholeumbrella and also address very mundanequestions, which we all have. So we're notjust talking about people's head, we'renot just, you know, doing somekind of spiritual bypass. We're talkingto people where they're at, and we'rehelping them get to the next step. Andthere are many testimonials, which areusually very supportive of this process.
I'm myself very dedicated, so you will bereceiving a lot, probably much more thanthe money's investment. It's aboutcreating abundance in your life as well, and it's about understanding howspiritual development works also withfinancial investment. We don't separatematter from spirit. We create abundancethrough spirit. So, once again, I hope thisinspires you to take astrology to theNext level: my next point in this is to alsomake you understand that as we move intothis next phase of humanity, itsdevelopment with the Jupiter-Saturnconjunction in Aquarius next year.
Beginning an air cycle of conjunctions of Jupiter, Saturn, Jupiter settle.Conjunctions set the tone for thepolitical climate, for the generalconditioning and social trends.
And the fact that it's going to be in Aquariusand in air signs for the next 200 years or sosignals that astrology, stars, starknowledge is going to be much morecentral and better integrated.
And I can anticipate astrology to becomebetter recognized, better understood inour general civilization.
So, this is not just a hobby, it's not just for your ownpersonal development. It's for you to develop professional skills andmaster your capacity and change theworld, change people, become an instrumentthat can affect, you know, bring light.
Into darkness, another word on that is,that if we bring good astrology to thisworld, think about what it can—what are thebenefits? What is the gift of astrology? What does it give humanity? Astrologyprovides clarity, provides perspective. You can look at your life from adistance and understand things, but italso gives a meaning to your life.
Because, as you understand astrology, youunderstand your life, and life is notrandom. There is a universal order, andyou're part of it. So, to understand yourchart effectively means that you, youunderstand your place in the universe.Your role, and that if you facedifficulties, it is not in vain. Beginningwith our current outer planet, which isthe subject of our talk today, Ijust want to briefly go over the generalclassification of planets. You obviouslyhave the Sun and the Moon, which are theluminaries. They are also sometimesconsidered as personal planets, in that, inThat package because they deal withpersonal development, but the Sun and themoon are actually our central processor.
And this is basically the control roomof our consciousness.
So, the Sun and themoon are the center through which weabsorb whatever is happening, and we integrate it and then dosomething about it.So, if we didn't havethe Sun in the moon, it would simply be acomputer that receives data and spits itout and functions mechanically.
But, without any personal involvement, whatever comes in would come out andwould leave you unchanged.
So, the Sun andthe moon are what allow you to relate tolife, relate to people, and personalizeyour existence.
Like I say, it is thecontrol room, and it is the source ofyour ego.
What is the ego? It's your personalprocessor. It's your filter—how youfilter life, how you see what's in frontof you. Not surprisingly, the Sun and theAnatomy, because it does represent whatyou're able to see. You can, we can alllook at the same picture but seesomething different.
And that's our filter. That's the Sun andthe Moon, so we do not see the ego as anegative force. We simply see it as acentral processing mechanism. MercuryVenus and Mars rule the signs next tothe Sun and Moon. Sun and Moon are in CancerLeo. Then you have the two mercurialsigns on each side: Gemini and Virgo. Then thetwo Venusian signs: Taurus and Libra, and thetwo Martian signs: Aries and Scorpio.
You are ruled by the modern ruler Pluto. So, the personal planets are about yourpersonal development: how you build yourhouse, how you survive, how you developyour value system, and how you basicallyestablish yourself.
Mercury is your navigation system. It'syour ability to find yourself, find yourway, and it's the ability to function:you know what button to press, how toeven start your car, going to work.
Knowing what to say, who to say it—it's that whole logistical aspect ofyour life and making sure everything isin sequence.Mercury keeps you in rhythm, in sync withthe rest of the world, so that you don'tcrash into people when you go about yourbusiness.
Venus has to do with appreciation, whether sense of satisfaction with whatyou prioritize in your life. What youlike and what you're gonna get, becausewhat you like is what you get, is whatyou want to get. So, although once and all,the sensual mechanism that makes youfeel what tastes good, what feels good, what smells good, the people you want tobe with and what you want to trade with.
People—the exchange of resources, andthat allows for survival and sustainability.Mars represents your defense mechanism, your ability to withstand gravity, climb mountains, face challenges, overcome resistance, overcome obstacles, face friction, and win every day.
Every time you go to sleep, every time you wake up, you made it.That's Mars, you made it through anotherday. You starch the bullets, you createnew pathways, you made new things happen. And through Mars, you discover all thethings you can do. You can build a house, you can build a business, you can makenew friends.
It's your force, your stamina, your energy.Your battery—that's your power. Then we moved to Jupiter andSaturn, which typically will be Sagittarius,Capricorn, co-rulers of Pisces andAquarius. But I want to focus especiallyon the modern rulership. So Sagittarius, and Saturn, these two planets meet like Isaid every 20 years. They will meet nextin December 2020, at zero degreesAquarius, starting a series ofconjunctions in air signs. So this one isgoing to be the first one within aboutalmost 200 years of conjunctions ofSaturn, Jupiter, and what do theyrepresent? Our capacity to bring.
ourselves into a larger context. How wefunction not only in our immediateenvironment but in our society. Theyrepresent our mastery; they represent ourability to cooperate, to come to ageneral agreement about what is ethical, what is commendable, what is true, andthings that we want to go by. Values, ambitions are guidelines, you know. SaturnJupiter represents our guidebook. What'sgood, what's bad, how to get just, how tobe successful. Excuse me, how to lead agood life, and how to basically leadother people. They also represent theteachers. So, they represent our teachers, who guide us, but also ourselves, becomingteachers and authority figures, so we mayguide others based on our own experience.
And learning mechanisms. So, what we seefrom these three groups that are someluminaries, personal, and social planets,is that we build a life and a functionallife. We survive. We do well with it. We payour bills. We have food on the table. Wemarry. We produce. We take care of ourHealth, and it seems like we covered it.
You know, we have all that we need. You know, we have our house with our white picket fence and three kids in a laband a dog, and you know, we're happy. We have a job, we have a family, we havean established existence that we can rely on,that provides a foundation so wecan be happy, functional, as Imentioned.
So these are the visible planets as well. This is why, intraditional astrology, they were thewhole package, because before telescopes were invented,we could not track Uranus, Pluto, Neptune. At least, that's what we assume because there issome evidence of earlier civilizationthat managed to track Uranus, but itdoesn't really matter.
They were not really firmly established as solar system planets, but you know, there'ssomething about the fact that we reachedthat boundary with Saturn, the visibleplanets, and that's indeed ourConsciousness, you know that, thatfunctional, happy life in the suburbs, youknow where we have the things we need, and we're doing well, but then wediscovered the outer planet Uranus, Pluto, map, chill, not in that order. Uranus wasfirst discovered in the 1700s. Neptunewas discovered in 1865-ish, and Pluto in1930. So, each century brought its owndiscovery of a planet, and that was
fascinating because each of thesediscoveries was synchronisticallyhappening as many social changes werehappening, and we're going to touch onthat. But the outer planets are what wecall transpersonal planets, which meansthat their function is to go beyond thatsense of security. You know, up to Saturn, from the moon to Saturn, we builtourselves and established a sense ofsecurity that provides survival. Then, the outer planets take us beyond security. They are the challengers, instead. Building, they destroy, they shatter, theydisrupt.
Surprise, they dissolve, and so we want tounderstand why. First of all, if weunderstand that this cosmic order hassense, then we understand that all theseplanets are like the hands of a clock, and each one represents a particularcycle. So, the Sun and Moon cycle are veryquick—year and month—along with apersonal planet. Then the Jupiter and Saturncycle are twelve years, twenty years, thirty years.
Rich representing basically cycles ofour development. But then, the outerplanets shift on that, and instead ofbuilding things linearly, once a break ontop of another brick to build our fancyhouse, they do a rapid, massive remodel. Theycut the floors. And the question is, why?
In the word transpersonal, there is aneed to step outside our own subjectiveview and experience. So, the outer planetfunction has a purpose—to basicallyobjectify our life and help us grow. So,they basically represent the force ofevolution—all three of them combined.
Each one very differently to objectifyour lives means that we are starting tolook at life from a more globalperspective and not just conditioned byour own experience or our own tribe, which is Saturn, Jupiter, but to look at things that can even gobeyond this particular time, so theyforce us to objectify and to look beyondour current circumstances. Sometimesthrough shock. It doesn't have to be ashocking experience, but it can bebecause if all the personal luminariesand social planets are about building, they are also about creating attachments.
We become attached to our families, toour culture, to our belief systems, to ourchildren, to our families, to our jobs, andso we become identified with all theelements of our lives, and Uranus, Pluto,Neptune come and expose all thelimitations of these attachments, andbasically say to us, whisper in our ears, there is more to life than this. And ifwe speak of soul growth, you need to go.
Beyond the ego development, so they arethe transition from egocentricdevelopment, which has to do with how doI build myself in this life. How do Ithrive and survive and reproduce? They take us to what is the deepermeaning of life. Are you here to justsurvive and make money, or are you hereto expand your consciousness andultimately to live according to a moreglobal, perhaps timeless, perception ofthe truth. So, this naturally is ahumbling process because you, you know, you have to doubt yourself. You haveto doubt your values. They force us tolook at everything we've built, and then create a sense ofdissatisfaction. So, whatever we thoughtwas so good, you know, we made it. We aresuccessful. We became the CEOs and wemarried our sweethearts. Then Uranus,Pluto, Neptune come and show the cracks.
The imperfections, and it's not just tochallenge us for nothing. It's because itshows that our ego has not figured.
Everything out yet, and they take us to adeeper journey that will expose us tothe greater truth. And so interestingly, you know, we're moving towards the newcycles. Uranus is about to re-enterTaurus for the next six or seven years.Neptune has been in Pisces since 2011and it will be there until 2025.
And Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008 until2024. So, all of them are going to shiftsigns around the same time—2024, 2025, 2026.You see that they are all in introvertedsigns: earth, water, earth, and they're allgoing to move into extroverted signs.
Aries, Gemini, Aries, and Aquarius. So,let's explore the function ofUranus—how, you know, how is Uranusand how is this its own cycle working?
I'm just going to exit this slide, and Iwanna showyou, you know, spine, which I don't have.I forgot to put it up, so—oh, here it is.
Okay, can you all see this slide? Okay, great. So, Aradhna stays about seven years.
In a sign and takes 84 years to complete. The whole zodiac, Pluto stays 11 to 32 years inside. That's a huge gap, but a total of 248 years. The reason is that Pluto's orbit is very irregular. It's an elliptical orbit, and as a result, there are times when it comes much closer to the earth, and then it goes again far away from the earth. When it comes close to the earth,it's actually crossing Neptune's orbit, and coming closer to the earth. This happened between 1979 and 1999, for about 20 years.
During that period, Pluto went faster than Neptune, closer to the earth, and was only 11 years in the sign of Scorpio.During that period of time, whereas Neptune stays an average of 14 years in a sign, and 165 years in the entire wheel cycle. So, what you identify here is that Uranus is exactlyhalf the cycle of Neptune—2 to 1 ratio. And Neptune is 2/3 of a Pluto cycle. So, he takes three Neptune cycles for two Pluto cycles.
So, they each have a very close relationto each other. This is their modernrulership. Uranus rules Aquarius, Scorpio. Neptune rules Pisces, and theirrespective houses, the eleventh, the eighth, for Pluto, the twelfthhouse, for mention. So, what are they about?
You know, we often speak about one thing, one thing.Let me see, people raising hands, sure, what to do withpeople raising it? If you have questions,it's best to type them or, and then raisehands, because I don't know what to do withraising hands. Just check, tap, you cantype them in the chat box.
So, one of the things I personally want to avoid whenI'm teaching is blanket statements orblanket statements, or you know, aregurgitation or regurgitation of keywords. You ask people, "Well, what is yourhonest answer?" And the immediate question is, "It'sshock." It's a shocking change, and no oneunderstands what they're really saying.
And if it is a shocking change, we haveto understand why. Why is it shocking? Why?
How does Uranus operate and why does itcreate this kind ofa radical perhaps change, and you willsee that another keyword that manypeople use is transformation. You know, you are going, why am I going throughthis? It's transformation, and why did Isplit up? It's transformation, and you know, why is Donald Trump elected? It'stransformation. So, we tend to use thisterms over and over again, andthey almost lose, you know, their realessence because it's, it's, it's easy tokind of associate these quick key words.
It kind of gives us a sense ofunderstanding the terms so we can betterunderstand the charts. But we need to goa few steps deeper becausetransformation is a blanket statement. You can't tell your clientit's just transformation withoutexplaining a process. Why is the changehappening? What kind of change? What's thepurpose? You know, when I ask people aboutUranus, we speak about change. When I askPeople about Pluto they speak aboutchange. So what’s happening when Plutosquares Uranus? Of course, it’s change, but what is thesquare about? You know, we all wentthrough the conjunction in 1965-66. Theywere conjunct and about 16-17 degreesVirgo. Then they first started to squarein 2010 to 2015. For five years, we hadPluto in Capricorn square Uranus inAries. And many things happened. Manychange happened, but what kind of change?
In what way is Uranus pulling? Where isPluto pulling? They both are revolutionaries; they bothare radicals. They both createtransformation. So what’s the difference?
So, one of the things thatwe need to understand is the sequence ofdevelopment, the way that Uranus helps usin our soul journey to step outside ourcomfort zone and to better understandthe more all-encompassing truth isthat Uranus represents the need toobjectify our lives and step outside ofOurselves part definition and the wayyou're honest does that is that it itelevates us. Uranus is immediatelyrelated to height, to going up. Thedirection of Uranus is towards the sky.
It is, you know, mythologically, and thegod of the skies, and that's why Uranusrelates to planes, and to space, and totall buildings, and people who havestrong Uranus in their chart tend to beyou know, the Fatah people. If you know alittle bit of Ayurvedic medicine, ratherpeople long, thin, tall, slender types ofbodies, and very airy, you know, the thebirds, people who have, you know, who havestronger, honest. When they buy your house, they want a view; they want to be higherin elevation so they can see things fromabove.
By definition, Uranus wants to move awayfrom gravity because gravity, Saturn, isvery, time-space based. It's here and now,and your radish wants to go to the bird, eye view, and observe life fromperspective, from a distance.
Whatever planet you have conjunct Uranus,Uranus is going to try to elevate thatplanet and it to objectify to create anemotional detachment so that you mayunderstand that is one of the key wordsof Uranus. What it wants, the reason itdoes whatever it's doing when it crossesyour planet, is to bring awareness andunderstanding. This is why Uranus has todo with knowledge, with the higher self, which means the part of you that knows, the part of you that understands, and theway to better understand is to, like wesaid, objectify, step outside yourself, andthis is immediately related to theAquarius principle as well. So, when I sayelevate, you know, it is about detachingfrom gravity and going to these greaterheights. But it is also doing that, symbolically. Uranus wants to improveyour life to bring more awareness andsophistication, to bring newunderstanding about what's going on.
So, one of the things you are going toexperience during a Uranus transit isEither you will see your computerbreak down or you will need someone whowill completely open your mind, changethe way you think.
Now, why is your computer breaking?Because your honor says elevate, whichmeans it will, it will destroy everything. That's old, everything that's obsolete, everything that is outdated, and so itcan create our crisis because you'reyou're not upgrading your life. So, itpushes you for a massive upgrade, andsometimes it's because you receive anice Christmas gift. You know, you've gota new computer with new features, bettermemory. But not, but it can also happenthrough the fact that whatever youcreated is not working anymore. You know, your methods are obsolete. Your equipmentis obsolete, and it's money. It,Uranus is actually an expensiveplanet because upgrading your life is anexcuse me, an expensive process in a verymundane way. You know, people who have astrong Uranus will only buy designer.
Clothes, because they want the upgrade, they want the sophisticated, they wantthe refine, you know, the quality, but in amore, you know, more spiritual way. If wemay say, Uranus has to do withawakening, with stepping outside yourcomfort zone, and realizing, you, you know, you have to work on your relationships.
You need a better relationship, so let'ssay you're honest, transits your seventhhouse, transits your Venus.
What are you going to feel in yourrelationship? Doubt. And what's the doubt? You feel that your partner is holdingyou back. You feel that you're notprogressing. So, you're honest, wants tobring progress. And if you don't haveprogress, you're gonna feel bored. You'regonna feel unstimulated, and you aregoing to lose interest in your job, inyour partner, in your lifestyle. You aregoing to feel restless. So, you're honest,is that taste of newness. There is a wayto take this to a higher level, andthat's why you, you know, you can lose.
Interest, and if you, if you don't work onyour relationship, the gaps of themexpanding and your relationship, it'sgoing to have—you know—you’re going togrow apart from your partner. You'regoing to lose interest in them, andeventually, break up. The other thing thatyour honesty does is that it, itaccelerates everything. So, the thingsthat you've been doing for a long timeneed to now be done faster. So, whetheryou're studying something, whether youare driving a car, whether you have equipment, you're honest, wants to quicken becauseit doesn't want to spend time on thesame thing over and over again. Uranus isinterested in progressing to morecomplex environments, more complexquestions. So, we're not gonna spend tenhours, you know, milling the same grainsover and over again. We're gonna invent amachine that does it more fast, that doesit faster, so we can do other operations.
We can save the time to do something you, know, more meaningful perhaps a newI hope I make sense, so Uranusis basically reflecting the higher mind.
It takes you away from the emotions, awayfrom the physical to the highest mentalfaculty, understanding, clarity, vision, thefuture.
Pluto is exactly the opposite. Imean, both are change, yes, both arerevolutionary, both are radical, but Plutohas a completely different way ofgoing about it. And Pluto goes down, downto the emotional body.
Pluto is going back to what is under thesurface, what is buried. And basically, think about it logically. When you see atree, you see what's above the surface. You see its branches reaching to the Sun,climbing higher and higher. And thehigher it is, the more Uranus energythat tree has. So, it's branching up, butthe roots are nourishing that tree, and they are under the surface. And they goas deep as it goes high, it must go down.
So, this is a replica of, you know, whatever you see above the surface iswhat is going on under the surface.
Pluto is that it's about going under thesurface because that's where all thenutrition is, that's where everything isbeing processed. But on a, on a, on a soullevel, Pluto is going to expose us to allour inadequacies, insecurities, fears. Allthe things we fail at. This is why veryPlutonian peoplescorpy onic people usually have a roughstart, because they start with not beinghandsome, not being rich, not being loved, not having. They start with lack. Theystart with facing everything that is notenough. And, you know, it goes deep to it,to a place of insecurity, fearof abandonment, and attachmentdisorders, because they have a fear ofabandonment. They can latch onto thingseven stronger. And then, obviously, itdoesn't work because the stronger you, hold, the more painful the failure is. And,that's the thing.
Pluto takes you straight to the pain, straight to where the problem is, butWhere the emotional problem is, so Plutoaccesses the emotional body, and thereason Pluto goes to the emotional bodyis because it knows that that's wherethe center of everything is. We talkedabout earlier the personal planet, if inluminaries— the Sun and the Moon beingthe control room of our consciousness, and that's where Pluto goes. As the nextwater sign after Cancer, Pluto isdestroying our control room. It's confronting our ego; all our attachments, all the things that we, you know, hold dear in life, are being doubted, questioned.
So, you may experience, you know, someone born with a Pluto Moon. What’s going to happen there? What is indoubt?Where are the insecurities in allaspects of my nurturing of my family, mymother? So maybe I feel that my motherdoesn't love me. Maybe I feel that mymother is not available. Maybe my motherpassed away. Maybe my parents divorced, and I’m experiencing a family rupture.
A moon or maybe my mother is havingseparation anxiety, and I'm experiencingthis Plutonian energy through her owninsecurities. Maybe a child born witha proto moon is a child that alreadycomes from past life experiences ofrejection of broken families. As aresult, this is going to be a baby whowill become much more attachedobsessively attached to their parents, and have serious separation anxiety, because there is a past life memory ofloss. And as a parent, you have noidea why your kid is so obsessive andwhy they need so much care and attention.Unless you look at the chart and seethere's a Pluto moon there, and yourealize something happened prior to thisearth. If you understand it, you canhelp. So, Pluto, if placedin aspect to Jupiter, then it willexpose the shadows of belief systems andblind faith, and people who get carriedaway by excessive charismatic power. Sothey are going to, you know, dig the dirt.
Of behind spiritual institutions, churches, and no, it's not a coincidencethat last year, Ennis Jupiter was inScorpio. You know, the sign of Pluto. Wehad the whole, you know, anotherwave of sexual abuse allegations againstpriests and monks, because that's part ofour emotional issues. So why isPluto often taking it to the sexuallevel? Why is there often sexual abuse?
Related to Pluto, because sexuality isimmediately relating to our emotions. Andso, the moment we are not emotionallyhealthy, emotionally adjusted, it's goingto show in our sexual behavior. In ourreally, it's going to show up easily, in oneway or another. The bottom line is thatPluto brings deep introspection into ouremotional insecurities because it seeksto transform us emotionally. And themessage for Pluto is: you can do it ifyou do the work. If you face thoselimitations, if you go and seek atherapist, you can be the instrument of change.
Is in your hands that's why this thewhole aspect of resurrection associatedwith Pluto is that help you will notcome at random. It's in your hand. That's why Pluto is a higher octave ofMars, the warrior.
So here you're not awarrior in a battlefield, but you're awarrior against your own demons, your ownfears and insecurities. But it's up toyou.Mars, Pluto, and if the work is done, youwill rise to a higher level.
And the message from Plutois empowerment now on a spiritual level.
What Pluto does is in complete resonancewith the needs of Uranus because what isthe function of the emotional body thatPluto is, so you know, fiercely working onPluto is trying to expand the emotionalbody because the emotional body is whereeverything is being integrated, gestated, processed, and so it's working on havinga better processor. Why? So you canreceive more from the higher world. So, ifwe look at the analogy of the tree, sorry.
To skip here, this is Uranus, herim ascend, ascension. Uranus descent, Pluto, and solook at the trees. If they have healthy roots, whatever is absorbed from the Sun from the high branches willbe an integrated process in those woods, andthe roots will nourish back the branches.
So, in a way, Cotto is working onexpanding the container of Uranus. It'sthe cup, so we each have a cup. And ifthat cup is filled with knowledge, withunderstanding, with wisdom, or withemotions, then it saturates at some point, and there's nothing more you can add. Thesame way, you go out on the street, andyou tell someone randomly that there's auniversal order, and that astrology is acosmic clock. They won't understand youbecause their cup is not equipped toabsorb this knowledge, and they're goingto think you're crazy. But then they willgo through their emotional crises. Theywill have an existential crisis, andthey will have to ask their questions, and they will destroy their foundation.
and rebuild a new container, a new vessela bigger one so that Uranus may bringthe awareness and the goods down fromthe heavens in a place that can containit. So, this is this double triangle, thetriangle of going down and the triangleof going up, and both are necessarybecause both obviously serve the samepurpose.
So, your honest works on the highermind, and it's always more. It's alwaysmore, you know, appealing to go to theIranian world because we all want to goup. We all want greater awareness andepiphanies and reach greater heights.
What we often avoid is to go down.No one wants to go down. We all want your honest, nobody wants Pluto. Now, that's why Plutois often pissed because we don't do thePlutonian work. We want to ascend withoutroots, and that's what happened.
Here, this is the chart of the beginningof the Arab Spring, and that's thebeginning, actually, of the Pluto-UranusSquare in 2010. So, what happened is this.
Young man Mohamed Bouazizi was aTunisian merchant, and you know he had abad day, where a policeman confiscatedhis product because he didn't have theright licenses, and he set himself onfire in front of the Tunisian Parliament. He eventually died from his injuries, and that ignited the Arab Spring, allacross North Africa and the Middle East, leading to a massive revolution and acall for better human rights, democracy, and transformation. But what reallyhappened, wehaven't touched on Neptune yet. That'sour next step. But just to look at thischart with a Pluto transit of the Northnode, square Uranus at the end of Pisces, about to move into Aries. Jupiter aboutto move into Aries as well, and that'sthe second pass of Uranus becauseUranus was earlier on already in Aries.
He just retrograde back to Pisces andready to now fully come into Aries. Sothings were already cooking the wholeyear, but that was the trigger point.
Who ignited it, but an Aries who had Marson his South node, so he was the ignitionfactor for the whole revolution. Now, whathappened during this was a very quicksweeping revolution through social media.Uranus and Jupitera big wave of awakening of higherrealization of a vision for a betterfuture, and everybody was on board.
Everybody was on social media, and in notime, two months—I mean, on February 11,2011—you see the Egyptian dictatorMubarak falling after more than 40 yearsin power. He fell, you know, in a space ofsix weeks, and the same happened in Tunisia.
And the same happened eventually in Libya, and the same eventually happenedin other Middle Eastern countries. Andthe same protest occurred in Syria. So, ifwe look now at those Middle Easterncountries; we look at Libya; we look atSyria. Do we see the Uranusenlightenment? Do we see a better futureof democracy? So, where did we go wrong? Why hasn't this revolution succeeded?
The reason is puto, everyone gravitated towards your honestand very quickly, in a very Iranian way, wanted to elevate the standards, betterhuman rights, more democracy. But instead, what happened is that the leadership wasremoved without proper routing, withouthaving done the shadow work. The reasonwhy that leadership was there for somany years is that if you don't do the shadowwork, the change will be superficial. It'snot going to be sustainable. And whathappens is that you create a vacuum ofpower, and then who comes? If the rootsare not dealt with, you will see the shadows moving in. Youwill see the dark forces using thisvacuum, and then you have forces like youknow. The complete anarchy in Libya, complete anarchy in Syria, and ISIS. Youknow which was, doesn't matter whichconspiracy theory you subscribe to, itwas very brutal. It was one of the mostPlutonian dark episodes that humanityrecently faced, you know, and we saw.
People mercilessly decapitated forentertainment. You know, a show oftravesty of power and brutality being celebrated. So, we saw basicallythat, instead of the Iranianenlightenment and advancement, we got thedarkest Plutonian force instead. And that's Pluto-Uranus squaring. If theyneed to work together, that's the purposeof the square. But because we gravitatedmore towards Uranus, we neglected thePluto. What happened is the backlash.
So, we go back to this equation: if we goup, we must go down at the same rate, withthe same intensity. And if we look at ourculture, this is not a culture thatencourages deep emotional work. Itencourages quick enlightenment. Uranus,a question about the wear of the width. You have to understand that the width ofthe aspect is not just a particularevent. The Arab Spring lasted, you know, more than a year, and the problem inSyria occurred over many years.
So, this was just, as I said, a processing.
Action and eighth, you know, when you lookat its degrees, you can definitely go upto ten degrees. So, Uranus was in Aries inJune and was very tied to Pluto. So, we'relooking at a period of time; we're notlooking at a specific day. And that's, youknow, learning another lesson inastrology is that we have to look atthings from a process point of view. Ifwe want to analyze this proto Saturn andPluto, Uranus Square, we also have to goback to the original conjunction in the60s. What happened in the '60s? What occurred during the civilrights movement? And so forth. That was allan echo of what happened in the mid-2010s,with Black Lives Matter and policebrutality, all repeating within thoseyears as an echo of the original '60sevents. Same thing with healthcare, orsame thing with—you know, we don't havetime to get into this because I want tonow proceed to Neptune.
So, just a look at the differentPlutonian opposition phases in Capricorn, and we see, you know, all the politicalStructure being completely revisited, thedoubts of the system, the banking system, the use of power, the abuse of power, andauthority, and then, you know, this lavaexplosion, scorched earth, is veryPlutonian when we eradicate everything, because the underworld of fire from theunderworld comes to surface, andbasically destroys everything. It's awhole story of Victoria to another study.
What happened in Hawaii during the lastvolcanic eruption that basically cameout of nowhere from cracks in the middleof a neighborhood.
It didn't even spill from the crater, directly. He went underground and came upto surface, which is, you know, a scaryscenario, but a lot to look into. Nowwe're looking at Uranus in Taurus, and Iwant to look at, you know, this vision ofTaurus being the earth, Uranus being thesky, and it's about combining a vision ofAthena elevating architecture, bringingecology with technology. That's the, theultimate vision of Uranus in Taurus.
Upgrade our arts to upgrade our foods toupgrade our connection to the earth andupgrade our architecture, and so this isan actual project in India to build acompletely self-sustainable buildingcomplex that would produce enough energyto actually support its own consumption.
And this is also another aspect ofUranus in Taurus secret geometry,a perfect alignment of form to matchcomplex natural laws and higherknowledge. This was, you know, theimage you saw here is the interior ofthe Sagrada Família Cathedral inBarcelona, which is a monumentalmasterpiece of modernity and traditionalmethods of architecture.
And also, look atthe texture. You know, something veryancient combined with something verymodern, which is very Uranus in Taurus.
And interestingly, the architect Gaudíwas born with your AMA Singh Taurus, himself Tanjong Pluto. And interestingly,he also had Neptune in Pisces, the sameway we do now. So, this is his transit.
That is a great repetition of his own chart pattern and anotherperson born with in the same period oftime is Tesla who also had the Aramis inTaurus and Neptune in Pisces, so anothergenius who, you know, whose genius was tocombine sky and earth, and one of thegifts Tesla we know was notjust the electric system, but it wasalso some kind of code for unlimitedamounts of energy, which is very Neptunein Pisces, the infinite.
But interestingly, these two folks whowere born with the same currentalignments. Now, the dark side of Uranusin Taurus is obviously when the skyrapes the earth, when the skyrapes Gaia, and you end up having basically atechnology overriding and raping nature, andyou know the consequences of that. So, tomove to Neptune, Neptune in Pisces, youknow, it's in its own side; it'sone of a very, very powerful and complexarchetypes. So, if we speak of the up anddown of Uranus and Pluto, Neptune isAbout understanding where and why we'redoing everything that we're doing. Whyare we evolving? Why are we changing? Whyare we sweating? Why are we waking upevery morning? So, Neptune represents ourultimate motivation to be, and this iswhy it has to do with our deepestspiritual experience. But Neptune has tobasically relate to nature.
Neptune basically representswhat is beyond us, the forces thatexisted before we were created. Becausewe're born into a universe that isalready there. And what are the things wereceive from the universe? All theelements—water, earth, air, fire. We receivethe Sun. We receive the soil, food. Wereceive the water, the rain, and wereceive oxygen. It's just a gift. We don'tneed to buy it. We don't need to produceit. It's just there. That's Neptune.
Something bigger than us, bigger than ourego, created this universe. But in the sameway, we receive from Neptune becausethese are things we did not create.
Also means that these are things we donot understand, so we receive something, we live by it,but we don't fully know where it'scoming from or where it's going. This is whyI met you in the 12th house Pisces, which represents our unconscious, because theseare things that we just take for granted.
You know, when you go about your day andyou breathe every second, you don't askyourself, is there enough oxygen?Where is my next breath gonna come from? You're just breathing naturally, and whenthe Sun rises every morning, you don'tthink, I will it rise today? I hope todaythe sun's gonna rise. I'm so afraid itwon't. Yeah, it's going to, and so forth, soyou kind of take for granted thatthe sky is blue and the trees are green, and that you have two legs, two arms, andyou know, you do with what you have.
This is why Neptune has to do with apassive principle of existing. It's whathappens, mechanically, organically, without you.
Needing to supervise it, there's astronger force that supervises it foryou, at least to a certain extent. Butthis is why Neptune has to do with trust.
You trust in the universe, the same way ababy trusts their parents. You trust theSun will rise. You trust there's enoughair. You trust you know there's enoughwater in the ocean. And because you trust, you can close your eyes and have a napand sleep, because you trust. You remainsane, and you're not going crazy, becauseif your trust in the universe isshattered, that's when trouble begins.
That's where paranoia begins and aseries of consequences. So, what isnatural in our chart, Neptune represents.
Again, our understanding of what is, thisall about. But at the same time, itrepresents the ability not to have allanswers and to accept the mystery.
So, in fact, both Iran-U.S. and Pluto, intheir transformation, work, andlightnings, and radical revolutions.Everything they do is to get to nature.
They wanna peel layers, they want to gohigher and dig deeper to get answers tosolve the mystery. In fact, Pluto, Uranus are striving tomake us golems to empower us so we mayactually not just develop our spiritualconsciousness, but so that we may developour faculties, our knowledge, ourunderstanding, so we may become activeparticipants in this creation as opposedto passively drift with it withoutunderstanding it.
So, Neptune represents our ignorance, whereas Uranus represents ourunderstanding. You see how different theyare. So, in our chart,Neptune represents our relationship withlife, and if we get along with life, if welike our lives, or in other words, if youget along with life, it means are wehappy. It represents our general sense ofhappiness, our ability to make do with whatwe have, and to have trust that eventhough we don't know everything, we'regonna figure it out.
Napkin represents also being part of theecosystem. That's why it represents ourimmune system, because as you are part ofthe ecosystem, you have the necessarycomponents — antibodies — and you can adaptto the environment without beingallergic to it.
So, people who suffer from tremendousallergies and autoimmune disorders is anoption issue. It's an adaptation issue. And whether these are environmentalpollutants or whether it's a deeperexistential angst, it goes back to nature.
So, Neptune represents basically whetherwe get along with our lives or not, or inother words, whether we want to be hereor not, want to wake up, what at work, wantto sweat. Why? Because if I said thatNeptune is about all the gifts we gotfrom the universe, and we passivelyreceive them, there is an expectationthrough Neptune that everything will betaken care of, that life is good, and it'sa self-regulating mechanism. So, one ofthe things that Neptune is not fullyUnderstanding initially is how to dealwith friction or how to deal withsuffering because from a Neptune pointof view, if I trust the universe, everything should be good.
The bad people should go to prison, thegood people should thrive, and we shouldall get along.
For me to feel safe inthis universe and trusted, but the otherside of Neptune is that nothing is takenfor granted, and even though everythingis provided, it's provided in its rawform, and therefore just like we receivefruits from the tree, and enoughnutrients, we need to know how to eatthem. What parts of, you know, do you needthe nucleus? Do you peel theskin? Or eat the skin? When is the fruitready to be eaten? Do you eat it whenit's green? When it's yellow? When it'srotten? All these things, you have tofigure out.
So while Neptune wants to be ininnocence, wants to trust everything, andjust go with the flow without any.
Resistance, he comes into this worldwithout skin, without a defense mechanism. And as a result, wherever our Neptune isin our chart, we experience greatvulnerability and overexposure. Noprotection, naive trust. And because ofthat, we can experience victimizationand a wake-up call that can be veryshocking. And this kind of difficulty orchallenge is not, you know, because we didanything bad, because we heard, and we'regetting payback for that. We're simplygetting hurt because we are too naive, and we don't, and we, and we don't do thework or supposed to be doing.
Now, during this period of Neptune in Pisces, one ofthe things we see is a growingexistential crisis. More than ever, we'rebecoming aware of the ecological crisis, and the feeling that we are at a tippingpoint where we may not make it.
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. It's the end of a cycle, and there's somefeeling of something collapsing. It'skind of doom and gloom.
We had the Mayan calendar just asNeptune enter Pisces. You know creatingalready a conditioning for something isyou know, to count down. But it's not justa Mayan calendar. We see that we are onthe verge of a sixth extinction. We seethat nature is struggling to survive inan overpopulated world, and that if wedon't adapt quickly, you're honest to thechanging circumstances. Where you know, our reality is not sustainable. So we arefacing this question of whether we wantto be here or not, whether we can be hereor not, and are we getting along with ourlives? Or is our life out of control? Andthat's the feeling with lib. Here is thatyou are not in control, and you are overwhelmed, and you are inthe middle of the ocean. You don't have
a clear sense of direction. So if you don'ttrust, you sink. And it's very interesting, some of you followed on my Facebook page, that just as this is happening, as thistransit is really marching on, and theseexistential questions are raised. I mean, whatOne of the things that emerge during thenuptial in Pisces cycle was the right todie and to receive euthanasia, whetheryou are suffering from diseases and youdon't want to go through the painfulprocess. You want to meet, if you don'thave a quality of life, you have theprerogative to end your life. But thensomeone took it even further, and he issuing his parents for giving birth tohim. And his acts raise questions of why should Isuffer? Why must I be stuck in traffic?
Why must I work, face war, famine, oppression?Or in other words, I cannot takesuffering. So he represents this deepestexistential angst and reluctance to beborn, which is one of the deepestNeptunian experiences. Becausewherever Neptune is in our chart, we have thatreluctance to be here.If people with astrong 12th house or strong Pisces, havedifficulty existing in the materialdimension, there is a secret death wish. Some ofthem may actually leave and commit.
Suicide or self-destruct others will gothrough the motions, but there's acontinual feeling of, you know, how do Icook with suffering? So we all have it. Imean, it's nothing specific tothis young man; he just takes it to avery extreme level. But we, we actuallyasked ourselves the same questions: howwhy do we, you know, why is thereinjustice in the world? Why do we killeach other? We all want peace, so whyisn't it happening? We all want justice, and why is it not a matter of fact? SoThe transit of Neptune is about reallygoing deeper and deeper into what islife about, and how can I be happy? Howcan I make peace with this thing called
life on Earth? Now, some Neptunian peoplewill say, oh, it's all wonderful, you know, look at the full glass, appreciate whatyou have. Beauty is, you know, this is inthe simple pleasures; others will feellike, this world is a big monster waitingto consume them. They are overwhelmed, they can't cope with the stress, and withThe cruelty and with a difficulty, but wherever Neptune is, we, this is whywe tend to numb our senses because we'retoo exposed, and there’s so much we cantake in. But ultimately, what’s thespirituality in this? What is the meaningof spirituality if Neptune is in Pisces, which is the most spiritual combination?
It also shows the exact opposite—cynicism, loss of trust, feeling of beingabandoned by God, and a sense of doom andgloom that there is no solution. It givesus a sense of drowning, and we all feelthat at some level, some more than others.
So, you understand the difference betweenall these outer planets. Chloro will say,I'm gonna go through this tunnel. I'mgonna dig in and meet suffering face-to-face, so I can exercise it. I am thetherapist, and I know that it's in myhands.
Napkin says, I don't understand this. Iwant to be in harmony with everything, but I don't always find the tools to beable to do that, but Neptune's power is.
In that communication with life is inthat dialog and knowing that life talksto us, that there's a lot we can learnfrom life, and that if we are in June,we get our answers only, only, only ifyou're humble. Can you listen? And Neptunewill then lead you. Well, so Neptune isabout dissolving your expectations. It'snot gonna be the way you anticipate, butif you are loyal to the truth, becausethere is a higher truth that is absolute, then you will be able to make it, andyou'll understand. And you're honest isthat bridge between Saturn and Neptune, between the physical dimension. So, like arocket, it's kind of leaving Earth to goto the realm of Neptune, which isstillness. And it's interesting thatUranus is speeding up, and speeding upand speeding up to reach Neptune, whereNeptune is no speed at all, becausethere's no movement in that unit.
Timeless, and that's the interestingthing is that the moment we will reachthe speed of light, we will go back in.
Time, so a lot of things to ponder on.Most importantly, I wanted to give you a glimpse of the nature of this work.I encourage you to check those two books. The one on, you know, that goes very methodically through Neptune in each placement in planets in the twelfth house, and the second one focuses on actually the Sun and the Moon in each house and sign,as well as the level of evolution of the soul. And that's what we're gonna do if we study together. It is to understand not just the outer planet but the whole chart from the perspective of evolution, and learning to find true solutions for ourselves.
