Hidden Problem
In your content, it’s important to provide insight, not just information. In other words, help people see things in new ways and come to realizations they’ve never had before.
One way to do this is to talk about the deeper “hidden” problems that might be at the root of someone’s surface-level challenges.
We might think our problem is one thing when in fact it is stemming from a deeper problem we are unaware of. By dissolving the "roots" of our problems, we can prevent them from continuing to resurface in our lives (often this “root” relates to some kind of belief system).
Providing this kind of insight will position you as a truly helpful guide that people want to continue learning from.
How to Apply It In Your Content:
- Start by addressing the surface-level problem or symptom they might be dealing with, but hint at the fact that the real cause of this problem is likely hidden from their awareness.
- Tell a story or provide an example of how you or someone else realized that the surface problem wasn't the "real" problem at all.
- Explain how and why addressing the deeper root of the problem can lead to dramatically improved results.
